Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a UK-based company specializing in education and overseas studies, has just published its 2019-2020 rankings of Asia's top 500 educational institutions, which now includes Duy Tan University, the first & largest private university in Central Vietnam.
DTU is named in Asia’s top 500
QS has been compiling university rankings since 2004, when it published the first "QS World University Rankings." Since then, the rankings have become one the world's most authoritative sources of comparative information on university performance.
In Asia, QS uses the following ranking criteria: academic reputation (30%), institutional prestige (20%), faculty/student ratio (10%), international research (10%), citations per paper (10%), papers per faculty (5%), and the proportions of PhDs (5%), foreign faculty (2.5%), foreign students (2.5%), inbound foreign exchange students (2.5%), and outbound foreign exchange students (2.5%).
DTU’s highest individual score was for the proportion of foreign faculty members.
