On July 17th, DTU held a cultural exchange meeting with students and lecturers from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore and Rangsit University in Thailand. This was one of the activities of P2A giving DTU students a chance to learn more about these two countries and their cultures and to expand their ties with other ASEAN countries.

Students got to know each other during a music performance and the showing of videos that the students of Temasek Polytechnic and Rangsit University filmed in Vietnam. They also conducted research on the culture, people and food in Vietnam and gave their presentations at the meeting. Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice Provost, awarded certificates of P2A participation to the students of Temasek Polytechnic and Rangsit University.
From July 16th to 19th, DTU students will accompany the students of Temasek Polytechnic and Rangsit University to many local tourist attractions, including Hoi An ancient city and Ngu Hanh Son mountains. This trip helped DTU students perfect their English skills and acquire an understanding of the cultures of their foreign friends.

The Passage to ASEAN helped DTU and other universities broaden partnerships and job opportunities for students. Students in ASEAN countries can make friends, exchange knowledge and experience together through these cultural exchange meetings.
