The Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, with thousands of researchers and a large government investment, is ranked number one, with Ton Duc Thang University second, followed by the Vietnam National University and the HCMC and Hanoi University of Science and Technology. DTU is sixth, followed by Can Tho University and Hue University, which are both regional universities.
