From May 3rd to 6th, DTU sponsored and co-organized the 21st Youth Informatics Competition and did an excellent job preparing facilities and staff for the contest, making a significant contribution to promoting student interest and creativity.
“The increasing number of contestants, year-by-year, confirms the importance of focusing on IT teaching and learning. As co-organizer, our objective is to find talented students and help them refine their abilities to contribute to the development of our city.”, said Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost.
There were 782 contestants from primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in the Danang area.
Students were equipped with highly configurable computers, a stable internet connection, modern projectors and other devices to support them in their presentations.
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost gave certificates of merit and other awards to outstanding contestants. The Youth Informatics Competition has been sponsored by DTU for the past four years.
Leading contestants will be chosen for an Informatics team to advance to the 24th national competition in Vung Tau in August.
