Intellectual property plays an important role to socio-economic development and is a common concern worldwide. However, many Vietnamese business people and law students are still unfamiliar with Intellectual Property Law and its impact on our lives.

NOIP representatives provided basic information on the topic, including trademark protection, exclusive patent licenses, industrial designs, copyrights, unfair competition, relationships among beneficiaries of intellectual property rights and so on. Interesting questions were then posed by the audience.

“It’s important for DTU Law students to attend these meetings and exchange programs. When they have a better understanding they will know exactly how to use the law to prevent violations”, said Mrs.Tra.
