Seminar on the Social Sciences & Humanities Viewpoint in Education and Research

On March 18th, the DTU Faculty of Social Science & Humanities held a seminar entitled “Social Sciences and Humanities at University from the Perspective of Teaching, Research, and Studying”. Attendees included Ms. Duong Thi Tuyet, a lecturer from the Danang University of Education, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan, a lecturer from the Danang University of Economics, Mr. Tan Hoai Da Vu, a writer and poet, Dr. Nguyen Tan Thang, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Foreign Languages and DTU lecturers and students.

Key topics included teaching methods, study and research in Social Sciences & Humanities, identifying the role of university Social Sciences majors and the latest breakthroughs in basic research as the nation develops. 
 
DTU lecturers, students and guests 

The best eight topics submitted were selected for presentation, covering the current status of education in Social Sciences & Humanities at DTU and other universities. They covered the basics of teaching literature, philosophical critical thinking methods, PBL applications, experience in collecting research materials and other topics.  

Dr. Tran Xuan Hiep, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities said: “The seminar was informative and attended by lecturers and students from various universities in the region, including the Danang University of Education, the Danang University of Economics, the Danang University of Foreign Languages, the Academy of Politics Region III, and Viet-Han College. The creative and diversified practical topics presented at the seminar were highly motivating.”
