On March 13th, an agreement was signed with Dong-A University (DAU) from Korea. Professor Han Suk Jung, DAU President, Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, DTU lecturers and staff attended.

Professor Jung said: “This is the first time I have visited Danang. I love this beautiful city and hope to retire here. I admire DTU for its significant achievements over the past 22 and, as a result of our successful collaboration, DTU will be our strategic Vietnamese partner.”
The signing
Under the agreement, DTU and DAU will jointly arrange exchanges of faculty, researchers and students, conduct research projects together, develop lectures and symposia and exchange academic information and materials.
Established in 1946, DAU is a private higher education institution located in the suburbs of Busan, with 24,000 students. It is the only private university and one of only two universities in Busan that have both Medical and Law schools. DAU offers courses leading to recognized higher education Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s and Doctor’s degrees in several fields of study. The university has 15 member universities, 10 graduate institutions, 1 hospital, 22 research institutions, 1 museum, 7 clubs for academic and aptitude research, and three campuses in Seunghak, Bumin and Guiteok.
