On February 3rd, the DTU Faculty of Foreign Languages held a seminar entitled “Solutions to Improving DTU English Teaching in this Age of Integration”. Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Vice-Provost, Dr. Nguyen Tan Thang, Dean of DTU Faculty of Foreign Languages and DTU Vice-Provost, and faculty lecturers attended.

Participants discussed many current issues, including the English language skills of the staff and lecturers of the various departments, the language and teaching abilities of specialized language teachers and the quality of the study habits of students. They proposed several solutions to improve English studies, such as implementing new teaching methods, where staff, lecturers, and students can practice their conversation skills, organizing regular seminars and workshops on topic-based English teaching methods, with foreign experts and organizing an English club for all.

The seminar was an opportunity for attendees to get a deeper understanding of the quality of the current English language capabilities of DTU lecturers and students, propose solutions to strengthen them and reorient English language programs for integration into an international environment.
