DTU Ranks Second in Vietnam in the 2016 CTF Time Assessment

With their impressive accomplishments at national and global network security competitions in 2016, the ISITDTU team was ranked second in Vietnam and fortieth in the world by CTF Time.

CTF Time is the leading assessment and ranking organization in Information Security, located at https://ctftime.org/. In Vietnam, the BKAV Information Security contest was assessed and approved by CTF. CTF Time reviews Global Information Security contests worldwide, including Hackover 2015, Defcamp 2015, the 2015 CSAW Qualification Round, PoliCTF 2015, the 2015 ASIS CTF Qualification rounds, the WhiteHat Contest and others.

The ISITDTU team has participated in many of these contests and made strong progress so far. In the 2015 ASIS CTF qualification rounds, ISITDTU was ranked fifth in Vietnam and one hundred and eighty-third in the world by CTF.

With more security companies, research institutes and well-known IT universities taking part, the Cyber-Security contests have become tougher, so achieving an in-grade promotion from CTF was a noteworthy accomplishment for the talented DTU students.
