On October 9th, the 2nd round of the 2016 CPA Contest took place at DTU. The contest was organized by the University of Economics in HCMC and held in Can Tho, Qui Nhon, Da Nang and HCMC. Four DTU students, Nguyen Phuong Ha of K19PSUKKT, Doan Thi Kieu Oanh of K19KKT, Do Hoang Long of K19PSUKKT1 and Nguyen Thi Thach Thao of K19PSUKKT2, impressed the judges and moved on to the 3rd round, which will take place from October 10th to November 2nd in HCMC.

Associate Professor Vo Van Nhi said: “The 2016 CPA Contest focuses on Auditing and Finance and widens the knowledge for students in these fields. Originally held in HCMC, the contest has recently been expanded into the Central Region and will continue North in the near future. I wish you success in the next rounds and hope that you can learn as much as possible to benefit you in your future careers.”

Twelve contestants competed in the 2nd round, consisting of two parts, answering questions and making a presentation based on an optional topic in Accounting, Auditing and Finance.
Hopefully, with their talent and spirit, the four DTU students will do well in the 3rd round and in the Finals on November 10th at the University of Economics in HCMC.
