On September 28th, the Danang branch of Manulife Vietnam held an informative career orientation and employment meeting for DTU Economics and Management students.

Manulife opened its first office here in June 1999 and is the only fully-owned life-insurance company in Vietnam. They offer a wide array of competitive products and services, from traditional ones to health, education, investment, pensions and others. Manulife is also the only life-insurer to have developed a micro-insurance program for poorer women in rural areas, in partnership with the Vietnam Women’s Union, and has received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Finance, including a Vietnam Top Trade and Service Enterprise award in 2013.
DTU students
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai gave a brief overview of Manulife Vietnam and life-insurance programs for students. He also gave advice on how to apply for a job in life-insurance, which ranks in the top five best-paid professions in Vietnam, required qualifications and job interview techniques. Manulife then interviewed applicants and offered jobs to eligible candidates.
