Over the years, DTU has organized business startup events aimed at tapping the creative potential of their students and identifying their business aspirations. DTU has staged the Business Idea event, the Startup Wheel, the Community Economy Project and seminars on thinking about how to establish a new business, which have allowed students to unleash their talents and show off their ideas.

DTU has recently launched several new noteworthy projects, such as the CNC Machine, a clean shrimp farming system without water replacement, multi-functional spectacles for the visually impaired, an aero phonic crop growing system, a smart condom dispenser and a robot that guides people across the road. These innovative projects comply with the latest business trends and focus on community interests.

“Recently, Danang has been paying special attention to startups,” said DTU Vice-Provost, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai. “We have concentrated on prioritizing projects that contribute to creating a ‘Startup City’. DTU also invests in business startup activities and provides an environment where students can optimize the development of their potential. Several DTU projects and products have received high acclaim from the community because of their practicality. With DTU’s active support with their financing, facilities and staff, together with their creative minds, students are able to establish a favorable startup environment and contribute to the development of the startup movement in our city.”
