2015 Linking Program Enrollment, Immediate Entrance Examination, Without a Three-Year Wait

Today, both new graduates and experienced professionals may not be satisfied with their academic qualifications. Now that they are able to move all over the country and overseas, they need to compete strongly in the national and international workforce.

Job market competition forces people to get a better degree to broaden their knowledge, skills and expertise. In order to satisfy this demand, Duy Tan University has been offering its Linking Programs for a few years now.
 
As a result of new policies, students participating in the entrance examination and selection process for the Linking Program, from vocational high school or college up to the Bachelor level, will no longer be required to wait for three years. Many other practices are regularly implemented at DTU to improve the standard of education.
 
As an addition to its wide variety of degree programs, from PhD, Master, Academic, Professional and Vocational Bachelor, Distance-Learning, and Second Degree programs, many years ago DTU established the Linking Program, which has been increasing in popularity.
 
An innovation in 2015 enrollment is a supplementary advantage which broadens objectives and study time, giving vocational high school or regular college graduates faster access to the Linking program, without having to wait three years after graduation. With just a vocational high school diploma or regular college degree, students can now take the entrance examination and go through the selection process to study at one of the top universities in the Central region.
 
DTU has many Linking Programs, which meet most student requirements. There are Linking Programs ranging from vocational high school to Bachelor for Accounting, Software Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Nursing and Pharmacy degrees. There are also Linking programs from College to academic Bachelor, for Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Electrical Engineering and Hospitality and Travel Management, introduced several years ago. Having determined that Linking programs are particularly suited for the training of working people, DTU is offering a special credit-based program in the evenings, to allow students to dedicate the majority of their time to their careers.
 
The duration of the DTU Linking Programs is relatively short, with only 2.5 to 3.5 years for the program from vocational high school to Bachelor, 4 years for Pharmacy and with 1.5 to 3 years to go from a college degree to a Bachelor, 3 to 3.5 for Pharmacy. Students have access to a curriculum based on the international standards of world-famous universities, such as Carnegie Mellon University, one of the leading IT universities in the US, Pennsylvania State University, one of the best universities for Hospitality Administration and one of the five largest public universities in the US.  Also partnering with DTU are California State University, (CSU Fullerton and Cal Poly), which are among the leading universities in Construction and Architecture in the US.
 
“The leaders of DTU always try to create some of the best courses in terms of duration and study cost, such as the Linking Program, where students can study conveniently,” said Dr. Vo Thanh Hai. "That is why Linking Program students can sign up for 19 credits per semester but only pay tuition for 16 credits, at a fixed fee of 13.1 million a year. Furthermore, there are many other incentives for Linking Program students, such as reduced fees for children of war invalids and disabled soldiers, and the possibility of staying in a university dormitory for only 80,000 to 100,000 VND a month. These flexible arrangements satisfy the requirements of students and workers alike. Over the years, graduates from the many colleges in Danang and Quang Ngai and Quang Nam provinces have come to DTU to study in the Linking Program.” 
 
For 2015 enrollment, DTU continues enrollment for the Linking Program, with examinations from June 28th to July 12th, and selection from August 1st to October 5th.
