On June 8th, Duy Tan University met with the Danang Association for Educational Promotion. At the meeting were Mr. Tran Dinh Lien, President of the Association, Meritorious Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, and university staff.

“Having worked in education for many years and watching DTU’s progress, I find that DTU is now one of the most eminent private universities in the country,” said Mr. Lien. “Together with Association for Educational Promotion, DTU has established policies and scholarship programs for poorer students to overcome their educational difficulties and motivate them to do their very best in their studies. We very much welcome this spirit and want to collaborate on more programs to make their dreams come true.”

The Association and Duy Tan University discussed plans for a long-term partnership. DTU would work with the Association to award Educational Promotion scholarships to disadvantaged students to allow them to attend university with their peers, offering a Talent Promotion scholarship to outstanding students and Professional Promotion scholarships to allow students presently unable to pursue vocational high school or college studies.
Helping needy students on the road to success, over the years DTU has launched several programs to assist Danang families in trying circumstances. DTU hopes to contribute to the joy and happiness of those in less fortunate circumstances and join hands with the community to build a better life for all.
