On October 21st, the opening of the B20 Second Degree program was held, with Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice- Provost, the DTU faculty and over one hundred enrollees.

Dr. Phu said:
“The significant achievements that DTU has made over the past twenty years have become a foundation for future development. I believe our Second Degree program will provide a comprehensive education and the skills required to meet the rigid requirements of the modern workplace. Recently, an 82-year old man enrolled in our MBA program because he believes that we are never too old to learn. I am sure that B20 Second Degree students will achieve great success.”
New students attend the opening
Mr. Ho Ha Dong, Manager of the DTU Second Degree Center, introduced his staff and answered student’s questions on the credit-based system and tuition fees. For the 2014-2015 academic year, the DTU Second Degree Center has enrolled 177 students, 69 in Business Administration, 29 in Tourism and Hospitality, 30 in Accounting and Auditing and 49 in Corporate Accounting.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh, an Accounting student said: “I have learnt that Mr. Le Phuoc Thiet, an 82 year-old man from Quang Nam province, has enrolled in the MBA program and I respect him for his passion to study. I hope to learn as much as I can at DTU. With 89% of graduates finding employment within six months, DTU has become a place where students come to make their dreams come true.”
