The SHABAASH wins that DTU-EROS, DTU-CMU1 and DTU-TITAN teams achieved on May 6th to 9th in Nha Trang greatly motivated them as they prepare to enter the Top 16 in the 2014 National Robocon. Their dream is to represent Vietnam in the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest, scheduled to take place in India in August. So far the DTU Robocon teams have performed terrifically, with spectacular wins.
The DTU Robocon teams in the Final Round
During the three days of the 2014 National Robocon, the spectators were pleasantly surprised by the number of SHABAASH wins. The DTU-EROS team defeated the Hanoi College of High Technology and the Ha Tinh College of Technology on May 6th. A day later, the DTU-CMU1 team overwhelmed the College of Mechanics and Metallurgy and the Hanoi Industrial Vocational College to reach the final 16. The victories of DTU-EROS and DTU-CMU1 were a big motivation for the DTU-TITAN team to play well on the last day of the competition. In their matches with three strong competitors in Group G, the Red Star University, the Vinh Phuc College of Economics and Technology and the University of Technical Education, from Ho Chi Minh City, DTU-TITAN scored three SHABAASH wins to become number one in Group G.

According to Mr. Dang Ben, the match commentator, the 2014 Robocon proved how greatly all the teams have improved since last year.
As a robot designer, Nguyen Minh Tri, of the DTU-EROS team, said:
“We are very happy with our early wins in the contest so far. The DTU robots performed very well in most of the matches, with many SHABAASH wins, demonstrating their quality improvements. Competing against many strong teams, DTU Robocon teams proved their prowess and are ready for more spectacular wins in the upcoming matches.”
After four days of competition, the remaining 16 teams entering the finals included the DTU-EROS, DTU-CMU1 and DTU-TITAN teams from Duy Tan University, and teams from the Ha Tinh College of Technology, the Hanoi College of High Technology, Hanoi University of Industry, the University of Technical Education in Ho Chi Minh City, the Hung Yen University of Technical Education and Lac Hong University.
DTU Robocon teams are highly-rated as three out of their teams enter the finals, so let’s support the DTU-EROS, DTU-CMU1 and DTU-TITAN teams to be victorious May 10th.
