The 2013 CDIO Fall Meeting was held at Taylor University in
Malaysia from October 30th to November 2nd. This annual
event is an important forum for CDIO members and associates to share information
on the best ways to continuously improve the quality of processes in
engineering education and also to showcase creative teaching methods, recent initiatives
and mutual cooperation. Attendees included CDIO leaders, collaborators and representatives
of research institutes and universities from twenty-three countries.

DTU delegation of four members was led by Dr. Tran Nhat Tan, Director of the DTU
Quality Assurance Center. Besides contributing many ideas and participating in important
discussions, the DTU delegation shared their experience in developing the CDIO
initiative at DTU, as well as their application of state-of-the-art models and
methods designed by experts worldwide.

The CDIO Fall Meting
2013 was a great success thanks to its professional organization. A large
number of constructive ideas and proposals were submitted to CDIO for
establishing collaborative projects in engineering education and research at the
international level. The meeting was a necessary preparation for the 10th
International CDIO Conference to be held in Barcelona, Spain from June 15th
- 19th, 2014.
