The 2012 DTU International Week was inaugurated by Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost and other representatives. Taking place from December 4th to 6th, the event included musical performances, information on taking IELTS and TOEFL courses and exams, the visa application process, interviewing, writing English CVs, means of financial support from local banks and so on. Mr. Andy Braden, Coordinator of the Auston-Singapore Institute, DTU’s partner in the 3+1 program, talked to students about the study environment and extra-curricular activities in Singapore.

DTU collaborates with universities worldwide to offer advanced academic programs. Partners include Carnegie Mellon (CMU), Penn State (PSU), California Fullerton (CSU). Three study-aboard programs are offered in conjunction with Appalachian State University, with a 2+2, with Lorain Community College in Ohio, with a 1+1+2 and with the Auston Institute in Singapore, with a 3+1. Graduates are granted degrees by the foreign universities.

“I am attending the 1+1+2 program at DTU. The 2012 International Week is a good chance for us to get more information before our studies in America in next year. I hope the consultants will increase our confidence about studying abroad”, said Ms. Tran Hoang Anh Thu.
