On September 19th, 2010, representatives of Gestión Educativa Consultores (GEC), an educational consulting organization from Spain, visited DTU. They were led by Mr. Juan Carlos, Director of GEC and Professor Antonio Perples, Vice Provost of Malaga University. Attendees included Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu, Vice Provost of DTU, representatives from DTU’s ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) center, the Tourism & Hospitality Department and others.
At the meeting, both parties briefly summarized their strengths. They also discussed a number of potential cooperative programs between DTU and GEC, including future tours to Spain for faculty members and DTU students.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice Provost, spoke about implementating the policy of expanding international partnerships to increase teaching quality. DTU hopes that, in the near future, both groups will work closely to provide tourism opportunities to faculty members and students.
