Bakke Graduate University, US to provide MBA program in Vietnam

In the afternoon of 6th October 2009, the meeting on MBA program agreement between Duy Tan University, Vietnam and Bakke Graduate University (BGU), United States took place at Quang Trung campus, Duy Tan University.

Present at the meeting were Mr. Le Cong Co-President of DTU and Mr. Hoai Anh-Vice Dean of International Training Faculty. As for BGU, there was Professor C. Neal John-Dean of School of Business, BGU. 

At the meeting, both sides focused on discussing the plan of MBA training program provided by BGU. Accordingly, the program, which consists of 12 subjects with 36 credits, will be taught absolutely in English by the professors from BGU. The program will equip students with the core practical business and entrepreneurial proficiencies. The students attending the course will be studied in the face-to-face and online class in 2 years. The time of study is flexible and preferred to the students to attend the class.

At the discussion, both sides agreed the project and mode of this master course. DTU has responsibility of marketing, enrollment, and class management. BGU will take in charge of teaching, providing curricular, and awarding degree to the students.

At the end of the meeting, both sides signed the memorandum of understanding and expressed the hope to soon reach the cooperation agreement and develop the program for the first intake in the nearest time.

The cooperation with Bakke Graduate University is an affirmative step of DTU in developing the cooperative relations with the international universities in order to provide Vietnamese students with high quality education.

Bakke Graduate University is a US accredited graduate school for leaders who are seeking to facilitate positive social transformation of urban areas. BGU are located in the heart of downtown Seattle, WA. Founded in 1990 as Northwest Graduate School of the Ministry (NWGS), the school underwent a major transformation in 2001 from a regional school to a global school.
