On July 5, DTU held the 2022-2023 Degree Conferring Ceremony for Doctor of Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, Architecture and Bachelor graduates. Awards were presented to 3,200 graduates, who are now qualified to make significant contributions to the development of the country’s workforce, especially in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands. DTU also awarded Certificates of Merit and prizes to valedictorians of various majors, including those with achievements in research and in national and international competitions.

Present at the graduation ceremony were Mr. Mai T?n Linh, Deputy-Director of the Danang Department of Education & Training; Ms. Tran Thanh Thuy, Deputy-Director of Danang Department of Health; Mr. Pham Duc Quang, Head of the Science Management Office of the Danang Department of Science & Technology; Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, HR Director at the ODK Mikazuki Vietnam Company; DTU President and Distinguished Teacher, Le Cong Co; DTU Provost Dr. Le Nguyen Bao; Rectors of DTU Schools; lecturers; newly graduating doctors, pharmacists, engineers, architects and Bachelors, together with their families and friends.
“Today is the most memorable day of your lives,” said DTU Provost, Dr. Le Nguyen Bao in his welcoming speech. “For this year’s graduating class, the message that’s most relevant, in my opinion, is probably, ‘adapt to change and change to adapt’. You are the students who had to endure restrictive online learning because of the upheaval of the Covid-19 pandemic, but you succeeded brilliantly. I hope you’ll have much fun today, and don’t forget to thank your parents and devoted teachers for their constant, strong support. I am sure that you will always remain determined to strive for success and realize your dreams. Once again, congratulations to you all.”

Dang Thi Hong Ha, a Bachelor in Tourism & Hotel Management graduate, said: “As DTU students, my friends and I always think that, although our time here was not too long, we’re now a part of this place. DTU is where our grand ambitions were nurtured, and the DTU brand has now been recognized globally for its intellect and beauty, which is something that we should all be proud of. Meanwhile we offer our most sincere thanks to all our esteemed lecturers and will now apply our knowledge and skills to demonstrate that DTU students meet all necessary requirements with clear moral character and thinking, especially focusing on the humanistic values of self-responsibility in the community.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, HR Director of ODK Mikazuki Vietnam said: “We recently had an exchange agreement with DTU. Since then, we have welcomed students to practice and work and now have thirty employees from DTU who hold important leadership positions or work in key departments, in addition to fifty interns. Our DTU students always use their talents, spirit, and creativity to the full at the company and, as a result, we are confident as we welcome more DTU students that we’re ready to strengthen our relationship and partner even closer.”

All the parents were proud of their graduates at the close of such a strenuous yet joyful journey. Graduation was an important milestone in their lives, an opportunity to look back on their studies, which were neither too long nor too short in duration, but time enough to deeply etch fond memories into their hearts and open the door to a new journey, full of great hopes for the future.
