On June 19, DTU, Dicamon and Hoc 247 held a Zoom Webinar on career orientation in Tourism - Hotel - Restaurant - Entertainment Events and Aviation, which attracted the attention of students in Danang, Quang nam, Quang Tri, Ðak Lak, Ðak Nông, and Can Tho. Invited guests included Prof. Dr. Lim Sang Taek, Director of the DTU Hospitality and Tourism Institute; Dr. Bui Kim Luan, Vicce - Rector of the DTU Hospitality and Tourism Institute; Ms. Le Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, Deputy manager of the HR Department of Melia Vinpearl in Central Vietnam; Mr. Tran Van Hoa from Vietravel Danang; and Mr. Vo Minh Hao, co-founder of Dicamon.
Invited guests answer questions
The invited guests enthusiastically answered many questions about learning conditions, career opportunities, output standards, field trip opportunities and other topics. Especially, the new and hot majors - Tourism Management and Aviation Services, Events and Entertainment Management, and Smart Tourism – enjoyed the attention from the high school students.
Employers in general and Mr. Tran Van Hoa and Ms. Le Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan in particular gave compliments to DTU students for their positive attitude and qualifications. Vietravel Da Nang currently has a team of collaborators, most of which are DTU students. Vietravel Da Nang is about to employ two new DTU graduates.
Vietravel Da Nang and Melia Vinpearl are two of 150 businesses that will participate in the 2022 DTU Job Week taking place on June 22, 24, and 26, at DTU’s Hoa Khanh Nam campus.
