Science Conference for DTU students of Economics and Hospitality

On June 11th, DTU held a science conference for students of Economics and Hospitality with 37 research papers.

Associate Prof. Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Rector of Economic School
 
Associate Prof. Dr. Phan Thanh Hai said: “For DTU students, conduting research is one of the most important activities besides attending lectures since it not only broadens their professional knowledge but also improves their practical skills such as: document retrieval, analysis and synthesis, data collection, presentation and teamwork. Hopefully, participants will gain these valuable experiences at the university.”
 
Some papers got the attention of the attendees including: Research on online consumer behavior and psychology; Research on factors affecting online consumer behavior on Shopee among students in Danang; Factors affecting the intention to study abroad among high school students in Da Nang, Factors affecting online shopping behavior via e-commerce platform among DTU students, etc.

The jury awards prizes for excellent papers
 
This year's research papers were of high scientific value and highly applicable. Excellent papers were awarded prizes by the jury, including:  
 
- a first prize was given to Nguyen Hong Anh’s team with “Key factors that influence car purchasing decisions among people from Danang”,
 
- two second prizes were awarded to Nguyen Xuan Thanh’s team with: “Factors affecting the intention to study abroad among high school students in Da Nang” and to Pham Thi Long Nhi’s team with “Research on factors affecting online consumer behavior on Shopee among students in Danang”
 
- two third prizes were presented to Hoang Trung Thanh with “Factors affecting the use of eco-friendly packaging among people from Danang” and to Phan Nguyen Ngoc Anh’s team with “Factors affecting online shopping behavior via e-commerce platform among DTU students”
 
- two consolation prizes were given to Hoa Nhat Ha’s team with “Research on online consumer behavior and psychology” and to Pham Thi Dieu Hoa with “Solutions to promote employment in the field of Tourism for people with disabilities in Thang Binh district in Quang Nam.”
