On the afternoon of the 31st of May 2011, Professor Phong Le talked with many lecturers and students of the DTU Social Sciences and Humanity Faculty about Nguyen Ai Quoc, Uncle Ho.
The attendees were able to expand their knowledge of Uncle Ho, even though this was not a new topic for them. According to Professor Phong Le, historically Uncle Ho spent a very long time traveling the world to find a way to save Vietnam from invasion. “In his thirty-year mission, Uncle Ho had fifty years to write. He was not only a politician but also an artist.”

Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Dean of the DTU Medical Faculty said: “I was moved by his lecture even though humanities is not my major. I hope all DTU lecturers and students can learn more and apply it in their teaching and studies”.
“DTU will invite more experts and scholars to talk to students. This is one of the best ways to provide them with a basic foundation for their future”, Doctor Phan Ngoc Thu, DTU Vice Rector, said.
Prof. Phong Le is a researcher and modern Vietnamese literature critic and is a member of Vietnamese Writer’s Association. He was appointed Associate Professor in 1984 and a Professor in 1991.
