On the 13th of January, 2012, DTU representatives visited some underprivileged families in Danang.

This is one of DTU’s annual communal activities. Since 2009, DTU has sponsored grants to three Dioxin victims: Dang Thanh Minh, Tran Duc Nghia, and Nguyen Thi Hong Van living in Cam Le Province.
Forty
years ago, the war killed millions of Vietnamese. Since that time, the after-effects of Dioxin poisoning have been seriously
maiming young people. DTU has reserved a small fund with the hope of making the
unlucky victims’ lives a bit easier. In the afternoon, DTU representatives also
visited Ms.Nguyen Thi Cuu and Ms. Vui, Mothers of Vietnamese Heroes, in the Thanh
Khe District. Their magnanimous lives truly exemplify Vietnamese tradition and
encourages the unlucky ones to try to overcome some the extreme difficulties in
their lives.
