The 2nd International Workshop on Spectroscopy Applications took place at DTU on the 2nd and 3rd of October. The event was a collaboration between the DTU Research and Development Center, the Vietnam Institute of Materials Science and Trescom Technology of Berlin in Germany.
Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman and Provost said: “It is our pleasure to welcome scientists from many different locations to the 2nd International Workshop on Spectroscopy Applications at DTU. We hope that the workshop will bring more opportunity for further collaboration in spectroscopy research”.
Twenty-three speeches were delivered at workshop, with scientists sharing their experiences in applying spectroscopy in environmental studies, medicine, archaeology, telecommunications, mineral studies and so on.
Dr. Vu Xuan Quang, Manager of DTU Research and Development Center said: “Most of the attendees have been involved in research for many years, so we hope to collaborate with them in some of their ongoing projects and plans were made at the workshop to extend spectroscopy studies at the DTU Research and Development Center”.
