Duy Tan University (DTU) has launched HeyDT and DTU AI Exam Hub, two AI-powered products researched and developed by the university’s own team to support education.

On September 12, DTU unveiled two artificial intelligence products independently researched and developed by its team: HeyDT, an intelligent interactive AI assistant, and DTU AI Exam Hub, an intelligent examination and assessment platform.

These are the latest additions to the AI product ecosystem that DTU has been steadily developing, joining previously developed solutions such as Case Study 2.0, DTU Hub Language, and AI Stethoscope. The products aim to integrate artificial intelligence into all aspects of teaching, learning, research, and university administration.

HeyDT is a virtual assistant system that integrates artificial intelligence, speech-to-text technology, and big data. It enables Duy Tan University students, lecturers, and staff to quickly retrieve information, interact naturally, and access a modern digital learning environment.

DTU AI Exam Hub is an end-to-end AI-powered solution for examination and assessment, covering all three stages of the process: exam development, exam administration, and online grading and assessment. The platform digitizes and automates the entire process, which traditionally requires considerable time and effort, while ensuring objectivity and transparency in assessing learners’ competencies.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Gia Nhu, DTU Vice -Provost, said that in the age of artificial intelligence, the question facing a university is no longer whether it should adopt AI, but whether it has the capacity to research, master, and develop AI products that support its own operations and contribute to the wider community.

“DTU has chosen to answer that question through concrete action. Rather than simply using existing platforms, the university is proactively creating technologies, developing products, and gradually building its own in-house AI capabilities. The launch of HeyDT and DTU AI Exam Hub provides compelling evidence of this strategic direction,” Dr. Nhu emphasized.

In the coming period, HeyDT and DTU AI Exam Hub will be widely deployed across the university’s educational and administrative operations. Throughout their implementation, the university will regularly gather feedback from lecturers, students, and participating units to further refine and improve the products.
