DTU and Business
On December 19th, Ms. Doan Thi Thuy Hai led a group of twenty PSU students from the DTU Business Administration Department to visit the Sandy Beach Resort. Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, the HR Manager there, welcomed the delegation.
Afterwards, they had a meeting to exchange ideas on how to stimulate the creativity and enthusiasm of employees. Mr. Nguyen Hung Anh, Vice General Manager of Sandy Beach, shared some of his experiences as a manager and some of their human resource management policies. He also answered questions on strategies to expand the resort.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lien answered questions on internship and job opportunities. She said: “We have offered internships to many DTU students, who work very hard to complete their job assignments. Five of those students were recently offered full-time positions at our resort. DTU students are always welcome at the Sandy Beach Resort”.
Ms. Doan Thi Thuy Hai thanked Mr. Nguyen Hung Anh, Ms. Hoang Thi Lien and the staff of the Sandy Beach Resort for welcoming DTU.
Mr. Hoang Ngoc Lam (K15-PSU-QTH) said: “It is good for us to participate in this field trip. It is an opportunity for us to see a real working environment and to meet and exchange ideas with the staff of Sandy Beach. This is an innovative way of expanding our DTU curriculum”.
