DTU Announces Admission Score Thresholds for the First Round of 2026 Admissions
Duy Tan University (DTU) announces the admission score thresholds for its 2026 undergraduate programs under the following admission methods: Admission based on the scores of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination; Admission based on high school academic records; Admission based on V-SAT scores; and Admission based on the scores of the 2026 VNU-HCM Competency Assessment Test (V-ACT). Details are as follows:
I. ADMISSION SCORE THRESHOLDS

Admission score thresholds for the First round of 2026 Admissions to DTU
The three-subject score is calculated according to the subject combination prescribed for each program in DTU’s 2026 Admission Announcement.
II. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are eligible for admission consideration if they meet all the requirements applicable to their chosen admission method.
1. Admission Based on the scores the 2026 High School Graduation Examination. Admission Method Code: 100
a) For all programs except those in the fields of Health Sciences and Law:
- Applicants graduating from high school in 2026 must meet the minimum admission requirements prescribed by the applicable admission regulations.
- Admission score: 15.0 points or higher.
b) For programs in the fields of Health Sciences and Law:
- Medicine and Odontoid-Stomatology: 22.0 points.
- Pharmacy: 20.0 points.
- Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology: 18.0 points.
- Law and Economic Law: 20.0 points.

2. Admission based on High School Academic Records
The score for each subject is calculated as the average of the applicant’s scores in Grades 10, 11, and 12. Admission Method Code: 200
a) For all programs except those in the fields of Health Sciences and Law:
- Applicants graduating from high school in 2026 must meet the minimum admission requirements prescribed by the applicable admission regulations.
- Admission score: 18.0 points or higher.
b) For programs in the fields of Health Sciences and Law:
- Applicants must meet the minimum admission threshold prescribed by the applicable admission regulations. For Health Sciences programs, applicants who graduated from high school in 2025 or earlier are not required to meet the condition relating to the total score of three subjects in the High School Graduation Examination.
- Medicine, Odontoid-Stomatology, and Pharmacy: 24.0 points or higher.
- Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology: 19.5 points or higher.
- Law and Economic Law: 18.0 points or higher.
3. Admission based on the scores of the 2026 VNU-HCM Competency Assessment Test. Admission Method Code: 402
- Applicants must meet the minimum admission threshold prescribed by the applicable admission regulations. For Health Sciences programs, applicants who graduated from high school in 2025 or earlier are not required to meet the condition relating to the total score of three subjects in the High School Graduation Examination.
- Medicine, Odontoid-Stomatology, and Pharmacy: 700 points or higher.
- Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology: 650 points or higher.
- All other programs: 600 points or higher.
- The Architecture and Vocal Performance programs do not accept Competency Assessment Test results.

4. Admission based on V-SAT scores. Admission Method Code: 417
- Applicants must meet the minimum admission threshold prescribed by the applicable admission regulations. For Health Sciences programs, applicants who graduated from high school in 2025 or earlier are not required to meet the condition relating to the total score of three subjects in the High School Graduation Examination.
- Medicine, Odontoid-Stomatology, and Pharmacy: 300 points or higher.
- Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology: 250 points or higher.
- All other programs: 225 points or higher.
III. REGISTRATION PERIOD
Applicants must register their admission preferences for DTU through the centralized admissions system of the Ministry of Education and Training.
