Achievements
On 7th January, 2012, the awards ceremony of the “Business Ideas Competition” was held at DTU. This competition was a collaboration between DTU and the Ho Nghinh Foundation for Technological Innovation.
Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman and Rector, Mr. Ho Viet, Chairman of the Ho Nghinh Foundation for Technological Innovation, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, the Manager of the Danang Military Bank, and DTU staff and students attended.

Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, the DTU Vice Rector said: “Together with the Social Venture Planning Competition and the Computer Fireworks Display, the Business Ideas Competition was aimed to show students how to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Most of the ideas were potentially highly practical”.
Mr. Le Cong Co awards first prize to Nguyen Phi Minh
On behalf of the sponsors, Mr. Ho Viet congratulated the winners on achieving such strong results. He stressed that: “The creativity of the younger generation drives social development. We encourage you to become even more dynamic in your studies in order to contribute even more to the economy”.
Nguyen Phi Minh, a DTU student, won the first prize of 15m VND with his idea of “A Wedding Decoration with Balloons”. Second prize went to “The Leo Center- A Place of Inspiration”, by Le Hong Phuc (from the Danang Economic University) and Tran Manh Hung (from the Danang Polytechnic University). “A Champa Village” came third and consolation prizes were awarded to the other five finalists.“DTU has held various types of competitions for students to share ideas with each other. I hope that you will all be a credit to our country in the future”, said Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman and Rector.
The “Business Ideas Competition” was organized for students from all colleges and universities in Danang. Eight finalists were chosen from the fifty entrants. Each team had to present their ideas and answer the judges’ questions.
