* At the international level (2023): DTU students in Architecture and Construction reclaimed the Championship at the IDEERS - Earthquake-Resistant House Design Competition in the Asia-Pacific region after nine years (since 2014).This prestigious competition attracts leading Asian universities, including Nanyang Technological University (NTU - Singapore), Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST - China), Pusan National University (South Korea), Taiwan University (China), Pukyong National University (South Korea), and more.
* At the national level (2024): DTU Construction students won Second Prize at the Loa Thanh Awards-the highest honor in the Engineering & Technology category for 2024 (no First Prize was awarded). Their graduation project, "Hospital - Luxury Apartment - Education Complex," was based on a preliminary design by the Da Nang Urban Planning Institute for a 21,311m² site, meeting real-world design needs. Over the years, DTU students have won 20 Loa Thanh Awards, including a national First Prize in 2010.
At the 14th National Architecture Student Festival 2024, DTU students secured one Overall Award, one Second Prize, and four Third Prizes across multiple competitions. They also received numerous awards at contests such as Sao Bien, "Vibrant Poland" Watercolor Painting, "Thousand-Year Hanoi" Watercolor Painting 2024, Spring Flower Street and Lighting Design, and more.

At the ASEAN Green Entrepreneurship Hackathon 2024, DTU’s FLEXILEG team won First Prize with their "Active Prosthetic Leg" - a cost-effective, high-quality prosthetic for disabled individuals.

- In 2024, six DTU students won First prize in the "Post-Harvest Processing Technology" competition with their "Blue Water Lily Artistic Blooming Tea"—a visually stunning and nutrient-rich tea that blooms when steeped.

* "Coffee Jam" - Second prize (No First Prize awarded) in the 2022 National Post-Harvest Processing Technology Competition and Second Prize in the 2022 Da Nang Innovation Product Contest.

DTU Automotive Engineering students train with 20 billion VND 3D Simulation & Smart Lab Facilities
DTU’s Automotive Engineering students benefit from state-of-the-art training at the university’s Center for Simulation & Modeling (CVS), which recently launched a Comprehensive 3D Simulation & Interaction for Smart Automotive Training" - an advanced 3D simulation system replacing traditional theoretical learning with hands-on interactive training.
