To help the staff, lecturers, and students in Thai Nguyen overcome the initial challenges, a delegation from Duy Tan University visited and donated 100 million VND to Thai Nguyen University (TNU) to boost their morale following the devastation caused by typhoon Yagi.
The delegation was led by DTU Vice Provost Dr Le Nguyen Bao and included School of Engineering & Technology (SET) Provost Assoc.Prof. Dr Nguyen Gia Nhu, Institute of Theoretical & Applied Research (ITAR) Director Dr Do Minh Hoat, and Center for Software Engineering (CSE) Director MSc Nguyen Trong Thanh.
Receiving the delegation were Thai Nguyen University Deputy Director Assoc.Prof. Dr Tran Thanh Van along with representatives and leaders from the Administrative Office, the Office of Finance & Investment Planning, and the Office of Academic Affairs & Student Management, as well as the Youth Union secretary.

Over many years of close cooperation with the joint implementation of various educational and scientific research activities for both lecturers and students, Thai Nguyen University and DTU have been supporting each other throughout their journeys of development.
In light of the recent damage in Thai Nguyen caused by the typhoon, DTU stands in solidarity and offers care and encouragement to the staff, lecturers, and students of Thai Nguyen University.
The biggest hope is that the lecturers and students of Thai Nguyen University would quickly recover from the aftermath of the disaster and continue their teaching and learning journeys ahead.

Thai Nguyen University Deputy Director Assoc.Prof. Dr Tran Thanh Van expressed his gratitude to the DTU delegation for their kind visit and for the love TNU and its member institutions always get from the leadership, staff, lecturers, and students of DTU, not only in educational matters but also during times of disasters like storms and floods.
Thai Nguyen University is committed to distributing and using the donation appropriately to promptly support the staff, lecturers, and students affected by typhoon Yagi.
