On August 30th, 2024, DTU International School, NashTech Vietnam and Microsoft, hosted a talk show entitled "Shaping Your Career with Women in Tech: How AI Changes Your Career." The event attracted interest from students and opened up numerous opportunities especially for young women in the field of Information Technology.

The talk show provided a valuable space for DTU students to acquire knowledge from distinguished speakers in the field, including Ms. Loan Pham, CTO of NashTech Vietnam; Dr. Nguyen Duc Man, Vice Dean of the DTU International School; and Ms. Quynh Tran, Senior Business Analyst of NashTech Vietnam. The speakers shared deep insights of the transformation brought by Artificial Intelligence and how this technology is creating new opportunities in IT field.

At the event, the speakers discussed the impact of AI on work and life. One of the most popular questions was: "Will AI be able to replace programmers in the future?" According to Ms. Loan Pham, while AI was advancing rapidly, the role of programmers remained crucial. Although AI could assist and automate many tasks, human creativity and strategic thinking were still indispensable.
The speakers also discussed the application of generative AI, a technology that enables computers to generate new content from input data. They emphasized that leveraging this technology can greatly benefit the creation of innovative solutions and improve work performance.

Another important topic discussed was the opportunities for women in the IT field. The speakers clarified the reality that, for a long time, IT has been viewed as a "male-dominated domain," but there are a lot of opportunities for women today. Ms. Quynh Tran emphasized that the diversity in the workforce not only brought creative ideas but also enhanced work efficiency. She also highlighted the advantages women have when working in the tech sector, including better communication skills and stronger project management abilities.

The collaboration between NashTech, Microsoft, and DTU created a valuable forum that opened new opportunities and encouraged more people to engage in the tech sector, contributing to building a more diverse and robust tech community.
