From July 8th to 12th, DTU, SAP University Alliances, the Academic Board APJC, and the Academic Competence Center Melbourne, jointly hosted the SAP Academic Community Conference for the Asia-Pacific-Japan (APJ) region in 2024, in Da Nang City.

The SAP Academic Community Conference is the largest annual SAP ERP conference in Asia and has been held in Vietnam for the first time. The event saw the participation of over 150 delegates, including professors, PhDs, experts, university lecturers, and researchers from universities across Asia, the Pacific, and Japan.
This conference serves as a global platform for professors, researchers, and lecturers to explore innovative ideas, solutions, and best practices for integrating SAP software into classrooms. Attendees also have the opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers and experts.

Attendees have the opportunity to explore important topics such as Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business, discover best teaching practices, and interact with educators and experts from various fields.
In his speech at the conference, Dr. Tran Nhat Tan, DTU Vice - Provost, emphasized that besides the academic activities, the conference also playeda crucial role in analyzing, fostering collaboration, and building long-term relationships.
"The topics we discuss at this conference will shape and promote the field of SAP ERP, contributing to the development of organizations and communities related to this field," Dr. Tan said.
Over the past 40 years, SAP and the academic community have engaged approximately 500,000 students annually at more than 2,800 universities worldwide.
Building on the success of previous SAP Academic Community Conferences in the Asia-Pacific-Japan (APJ) region, held at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2022, Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 2019, and Fudan University in Shanghai, China in 2018, the SAP ACC APJ 2024 conference takes place in Da Nang, Vietnam.
