DTU Economics, Management, and Service programs are highly regarded due to the quality of education, which is largely "imported" from Pennsylvania State University (PSU or PennState) - one of the top 50 institutions for Economics and Management education in the U.S. (according to U.S. News 2023). This renowned American university has partnered with DTU to transfer educational programs in these fields:

* Tourism- Hotel-Restaurant
The world-class training program in collaboration with PennState provides students with advanced knowledge base, consistent with the increasingly high level requirements from agencies and businesses.
DTU students of Economics and Management also have many advantages since the Faculty applied PBL (Problem-Based Learning/Project-Based Learning), a teaching approach adopted by many countries worldwide, along with other interactive methods such as: engaging lectures, logical question-and-answer sessions, group discussions, etc., to enhance learners' initiative in the learning and research process.
Many entrepreneurial ideas have been created
DTU is well-known for successfully organizing many startup competitions. Notably, the "Community Economic Project" contest and the "Igniting Business Ideas" competition have created interesting playgrounds for students of Economics and Management to come up with many startup ideas even before graduating. From these platforms, the students have "ventured into the open sea," participating in many large-scale domestic and international competitions, winning numerous valuable prizes
With the project "“The Co Tu Community-based Tourism”, five dynamic and enthusiastic Gen Z girls from DTU International School secured the second prize at the “I’m possible” Startup Launchpad Program within the framework of the "Digital Technology Exchange Day 2023" held in Vinh Long City in December, 2023.

Previously, many DTU students of Economics and Management had won major awards with startup products and products for the community benefit, including:
• Doan Thi Thu Ha won Women in Business Award at Go Green in The City 2018 in Atlanta (the US), a Third in National Startup competition 2020, a Second in “Da Nang City Creative ideas – Start-up” 2019, a Second in the “Seeding your idea” - 2019 jointly held by Vintech city and BSSC.
• Phan Van Thinh won a Third prize in National Startup competition 2020, and a Second in “Da Nang City Creative ideas – Start-up” 2019;
• Trish Maguta from Zimbabwe Republic won a Third in CDIO Academy 2018 and a Consolation prize in STR Asia Pacific Student Market Study Competition 2019;
The achievements achieved by DTU faculty and students of Economics and Management have provided much inspiration for candidates who are passionate about this area to confidently choose DTU for their higher education and to be confident in achieving success in their future career development.
