On October 27, the DTU School of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities held a talkshow entitled: "From policy consultation to project implementation: Insider perspectives on International Relations". The talkshow covered details on the International Relations discipline in general and career orientation in the field.

Attendees included: Dr. Pham Hung Tien, Deputy Director of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF), the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam; Dr. Loc Thi Thuy, a Policy Consultant from the Institute of American Studies, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; Dr. Luong Tuan Anh, an urban transport project consultant from the University of Transport and Communications; Dr. Nguyen Van Duong, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; DTU lecturers and students.

Dr. Loc Thi Thuy, a Policy Consultant from the Institute of American Studies at the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences emphasized: "The most vital skill required in studying International Relations is the ability to continually interpret and update information comprehensively. We must also be aware of the advantages of partnering with individuals or groups to come up with the most appropriate methods in each situation."
