From September 5 to October 15, the DTU School of Medicine and Pharmacy visited twenty healthcare facilities in Danang and the Thua Thien province in Hue to promote academic partnerships in the local healthcare sector.

The delegation included Professor Tran Huu Dang, Dean of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, doctors, staff and lecturers. They toured the Hue Central Hospital and another nineteen hospitals, medical centers and companies, including the Danang Hospital; the Danang Psychiatric Hospital; the Danang C Hospital; the Danang Oncology Hospital; the Central Pharmaceutical Company No.1 (CPC1), Danang branch; the Hanoi CPC1 Pharmaceutical Company, Danang branch; and others.
The delegation visits an internship site
During the working visits, Professor Dang expressed his appreciation to his hosts for their excellent contributions to the local community and for providing internships to medical students and confirming the quality of education and increasing reputation of DTU in the medical field in the Central Region.
Professor Dang also outlined the leaders of the healthcare facilities on new directions in the medical profession, updating them on information about training programs and the necessary medical facilities, to provide students with the optimal clinical practice and adequate opportunities to prepare for their future jobs.
