On June 6, DTU held the opening ceremony of the P2A Hybrid Mobility in Health Sciences program. The program will be offered on and offline from June 6 to July 11, for DTU and ASEAN students who are interested in foreign cultures and languages and want to communicate directly with each other.
Professor Dr. Tran Huu Dang, Rector of DTU School of Medicine & Pharmacy
Mr. Jeroen G. “The ASEAN community is dynamic and growing fast, so we have a joint responsibility to contribute to its development in many ways, especially by participating in special P2A’s activities such as this one, and I want to thank DTU for sharing this mission with us!”

Participants of P2A Hybrid Mobility in Health Sciences Program
As in the seven-day 2023 P2A Hybrid Mobility in Hospitality & Tourism program, students are divided into groups to discuss health science issues which are introduced in videos entitled: “ASEAN Youth: Digital Dream Actualization”, “Shortcomings of health science development in ASEAN community”, and others. Students can then discuss topics such as: “The advantages and disadvantages of online medical training”; “eHealth - the future trend of healthcare”; “AI in healthcare”; and “Virtual reality in healthcare” and others.
Professor Dr. Tran Huu Dang said: “Health issues in ASEAN have their own special characteristics due to ethnic, cultural and geographical differences, and diagnostic and treatment guidelines are quite different from those in Europe or the Americas. At the same time, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is drastically changing the world universally, and the digitization of healthcare has become a major issue. I hope that this program will not only help the students get to know each other but also enable them come up with new ideas in order to address health promotion activities in the ASEAN region.”
