Since 2020, DTU students have successfully competed in major international competitions, together with professional designers, other universities and freelance designers from the US, the UK and elsewhere. They have won nine Graphic or Graphic New Talent Awards in the US, two American Graphic Design Awards (AGDA, US), six International Design Awards (IDA, US), and three London International Creative Competition (LICC, UK) prizes. Their creative and unique designs have been widely admired and confirm that their unique skills and the quality of education at DTU make all the difference.
The exhibition included eleven logos that won twenty international graphic design awards. They were created by eleven students majoring in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Architecture & Applied Arts; Game & Multimedia Design from the Faculty of Information Technology; and Multimedia Communications and Literature & Journalism from the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities.
DTU students exhibit award-winning designs until March 3rd
DTU also supports students from other disciplines participating in graphic design competitions, who have also won significant prizes, at a contest to “design earthquake-resistant buildings” in Taiwan for example, as well as awards at Loa Thanh, the National Student Architecture Festival and Informatics Olympiads.
Currently, the DTU Faculty of Architecture & Applied Arts offers majors in Architecture; Interior Architecture; Graphic Design; and Fashion Design. The DTU Faculty of Information Technology has courses in Software Engineering; Game & Multimedia Design, whilst the DTU Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities offers Literature and Journalism; Multimedia Communications; International Relations; Vietnamese Studies; and Public Relations.
