On December 18, ten teams competed in the 2022 ISITDTU CTF (International Information Security Contest Finals). DTU has hosted the annual event since 2018, 170 national and international teams participated and DTU once again overwhelmed many of the other competitors. The contest is intended for both experts in the field of network security and also for interested local and international students. Teams can share ideas, develop their career opportunities in the field of Cybersecurity and work together to build a safe and reliable cyber environment.
The preparation for ISITDTU CTF 2022.
The 2022 ISITDTU CTF had two rounds:
The Qualifying Round was held online for 2 days, lasted for 36 hours, and 30% of the teams came from companies and universities in Vietnam.
The Finals were held offline on December 18, lasting for 8 hours, non-stop. As well as teams from Vietnam, others from South Korea, Singapore, India competed.
The Top 10 teams
For the first time, this year’s contest was jointly sponsored by the Department of Information Security, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Danang Department of Information and Communications. The leading sponsor was the VNPT-IT Technology Company.
The contest is part of a series of events to promote the training and development of Vietnamese Information Security professionals, as part of the project entitled: “Training and Development of Information Security Human Resources from 2021 to 2025".
