From November 28 to 30, the DTU Faculty of Dentistry and the DTU Medical Simulation Center jointly held the second "Oral Health Day" for DTU K28 students, to discuss oral health issues and the importance of good oral hygiene for all.
The students were given a dental checkup and X-rayed, supervised by hygienists and more senior Dentistry students, who showed the participants how to brush their teeth properly and keep them bright and healthy.

On August 8 and 9 this year, the first “Oral Health Day” was held for DTU staff, lecturers and their relatives. On that occasion, several attendees had tooth tartar removed.
Le Tuyet Mai, a first-year Doctor of Dentistry student, said: “I am happy to be here with my friends. The event allowed us to have a better understanding of oral health and motivated us to focus on our chosen future career paths even more.”
Le Trung Nghia, a Doctor of Dentistry senior student, added: "This is the second time I have attended Oral Health Day. I am here to instruct junior students on how to take care of their teeth and gums by practicing good oral hygiene. Thanks to the guidance of my DTU lecturers, I have also gained more theoretical and practical experience about my major.”
