On November 10, a delegation from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore came to DTU as part of the “Passage to ASEAN (P2A)” cultural exchange program, to enable students to learn more about other ASEAN countries, meet each other and make new relationships.

The attendees enjoyed exciting musical performances and games, and asked questions about the culture, customs, culinary arts and languages. Lecturers and students of the two universities then discussed their thoughts, understanding and expectations concerning the program. Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost, awarded P2A certificates to Temasek Polytechnic students.
Dr. Tony Halim, a lecturer from Temasek Polytechnic said: “The last time I visited Danang was in 2018, and I am delighted to return. I always tell my students that Vietnam is a remarkable country, so this is a great opportunity for our lecturers, staff and students to get to know each another and, most importantly, discuss what we can do now to promote increased networking and closer relationships between Singapore and Vietnam.”

During their 4-day visit to Danang, from November 8 to 12, DTU students took their guests to several places of interest in Danang and Hoi An, and enjoyed special local meals together. The Temasek Polytechnic students and lecturers will always remember their trip to DTU and Danang.
