On October 22, at the 2022-2023 opening ceremony, DTU awarded 385 scholarships worth 21.5 billion dong in total, to motivate selected incoming students to work harder to realize their ambitions. The university also reduced previous tuition fees by 10.2 million dong.
Top student Dinh Thi Hoai Nhi
Dinh Thi Hoai Nhi from Daklak, with the highest HSGE score of 29.5, was awarded a full scholarship and a laptop when she enrolled in International Relations. Seven other students with high HSGE results, enrolled in each of the seven DTU schools, also received scholarships.

The university offers some new majors in the 2022-2023 academic year, including Data Science, Computer Networks and Data Communications, Tourism and Travel Service Management and Solid-State Physics.
Over the past 28 years, DTU has continuously increased the number and quality of its staff to provide high quality education to the community. There were just a few dozen at the beginning compared with 1,215 today. Thirty percent of them hold PhDs, and full or associate professorships.
The DTU degrees and diploma types are now widely diversified, providing many new study options, in 10 PhD, 15 Master’s and 55 Bachelor’s programs.
