The Covid-19 pandemic had a heavy toll on the tourism sector, pushing a large number of tour guides to quit or find other jobs. The pandemic is now under control, however, and tourism is on its way to recovery, such that young people will be a promising source of workers for the sector in the future. This contest will bring young people closer to the work of tour guides and it will be an opportunity for them to advertise tourism in their countries and improve its image in the eyes of the world.
