Next, I’d like to thank the lecturers who devotedly taught the students throughout the years past. Once more, I congratulate the students receiving their degrees. This is not the final goal, but maybe it’ll be a moment you can look back to with pride of yourselves. The knowledge and skills you acquired through the years are only equipment for your life ahead. You have to work hard and much harder still to attain the goals you’re wishing for. The knowledge and skills you acquired through the years are only equipment for your life ahead. Phan Le Ngoc Duy, freshly Bachelor in English for Tourism, said, “Time doesn’t wait for anyone; four years of studies just ended. Life at DTU was wildly different from what I knew. People often say, ‘Just try and get into university; studying university’s a breeze: you only need to cram when exams are up.’ But no: at DTU, students need to study seriously and work really hard right from the first week. Working to deadlines has become our daily bread-and-butter job, our excitement and our worry: signing up for credits or laughter-filled extracurricular activities. It all turned into memory: remembrances etched deeply into the minds of every student. Just like all other students of the university, we always enjoyed thoughtfulness and care from our lecturers. They are the ones who inspired us through every lecture and every training session. Besides the lessons in the textbooks and the specialized knowledge, we received a lot of deep and meaningful lessons in compassion and how to behave in communication. In name of all students graduating today, I’d like to send my deepest thanks to all the lecturers, who were always there for us, helped us, and encouraged us.”
