The DTU Faculty of Civil Engineering Celebrates its 25th Anniversary

2022 marked an important milestone of 25 years of building and development for the DTU Faculty of Civil Engineering with lots of remarkable achievements in education.  The mission of the DTU Faculty of Civil Engineering is to provide Central Vietnam and the Highlands with ethical and qualified engineers majored in Civil & Industrial Engineering, Road & Bridge Construction, and Construction Engineering Management.

Over 25 years of building and development, the Faculty of Civil Engineering has offered education for more than 95 courses and provided society with nearly 9,000 engineers and bachelors majored in Civil Engineering with ethics, moral and professional skills.   
  
On June 26, the DTU Faculty of Civil Engineering held a ceremony for its 25th anniversary. Many city leaders came to celebrate with the faculty. Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Danang Construction Association, and Mr. Bui To Hoai, Vice Chairman of the Danang Road & Bridge Association, attended.

Physician of the people Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, MSc. Nguyen Quoc Lam, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Civil Engineering, former lecturers, and 100 alumni who are now businessmen or technicians at many companies in Danang and other provinces attended the ceremony.
 
Mr. Vuu Huu Thanh, Former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the period 1999-2006, talked about his memories of the first days of building the faculty, the difficulties the faculty had to overcome to achieve so many good results today, and his recognition for the efforts of all lecturers of the faculty over the past time. Besides, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh addressed the ceremony and showed his recognition for the development of the faculty. He also hoped that the faculty would make better progress to contribute to the development of the university.   
 
No matter what difficulties and challenges the faculty has had over the past 25 years, all generations of  Faculty of Civil Engineering lecturers have been putting in a lot of effort to innovate the educational program to innovate the educational program to meet the current needs of training and education.
