To encourage Hospitality students with impressive accomplishments in their studies and positive participation in Union activities, the DTU Hospitality & Tourism Institute awarded the Institute Director’s scholarships to 18 outstanding students on May 4th.
In attendance were Professor Lim Sang-taek, Director of the Hospitality & Tourism Institute; Dr. Bui Kim Luan, Deputy Director of the Hospitality & Tourism Institute; Ms. Pham Thi Hoang Dung, Dean of the Faculty of International Hospitality Management; Ms. Vu Thi Lanh, Dean of the Faculty of International Travel Management; and lecturers, students and their parents.

Prof. Lim Sang-taek said: “All students present here today are very special and exemplary. That is also nothing but the objective of the Hospitality & Tourism Institute: to provide our students an environment that continues to bring out their full potential and talent. The scholarship is a small present I want to give you to mark the hard work and unceasing efforts of Hospitality students.”

The Institute Director’s scholarship is considered a reward Prof. Lim Sang-taek gives to students with outstanding achievements and positive contributions to the development of the Institute through activities like scientific research, prizes at contests in Vietnam and abroad, enrollment, Union activities, collaborations, etc.
Mrs. Hoang Thi Phuong, Linh Chi‘s mother, said: “We have the honour of attending today’s ceremony and I’m very happy to see my daughter growing up and receiving guidance from the DTU lecturers. I hope that not only Linh Chi but also the other students will strive even harder to not let down their lecturers’ hopes and also to find a good job after graduation.”
