To give senior high school students in Danang an opportunity to learn about its dynamic and creative study environment in a space of modern scientific research and to inform them on its training programs and majors, DTU joined hands with the Danang Youth Union to hold campus tour entitled “High school students with Science and Technology and the Future”. The students had a wonderful time at the 120 Hoang Minh Thao campus, from March 9 to 12.

The event attracted a great many students from senior high schools in Danang
Hundreds of students from senior high schools in Danang visited, exchanged, and experienced the dynamic and creative study environment at DTU. The students were introduced to the majors, the Advanced & International programs, the Talent programs, and On-Site Study-Abroad on offer at the university, to help them get a clearer picture of the different disciplines and a correct orientation when choosing their university and major.
At DTU, the students could experience some activities and discover the functionality of the university laboratories:
They learned about the eCPR chest compression model and practiced first aid hands-on.
They visited the practice rooms for odonto-stomatology, general practitioner, nursing, pharmacy, and anatomy with very modern infrastructure.
They visited the Stem Lab practice room, which offers a full range of equipment to turn ideas into scientific products of practical value: 3D printers, mechanical devices, electronic circuits, logo printers, etc.
They experienced the “Robot War” game by directly controlling simulated combat robots.
They visited the chemistry lab and experienced fun chemistry experiments.
They visiting the room for growing medicinal plants and were introduced to plant varieties being used in scientific research and treatment.
They visited the collections of butterflies, dragonflies, beetles, etc.
In particular, they visited the Silver Swallow Studio, where movies with modern effects are produced. They relived the Vietnam Air Force air battle at Thanh Hoa Bridge of 1965, which was heroically and vividly recreated through the documentary film The First Swallows, the first installment of the Vietnam Air War series.

“We’ve known about DTU for a long time, but it’s only now we can experience its study environment in person,” Ngoc Na, student of Thanh Khe senior high school said. “Visiting the labs, experiencing rewarding activities, and having my questions on majors, training programs, and future career opportunities answered by devoted lecturers during the visit will help me a lot to make a better decision when choosing an appropriate major and university.”
Thuy Anh of the Danang Center for Continued Education Nr. 2 also said, “We’re very excited about this experience; there’s many novelties we’d never seen before. I really thank DTU to have organized this visit. In the future, I wish I can study tourism at DTU.”
With the practical experience of the event “High school students with Science and Technology and the Future”, let us hope these high school students will have the knowledge and experience they need for a correct orientation towards their future majors.
