On January 18th, Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost, and representatives of the DTU Faculty of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities met with Mr. Shimonishi Kiyoshi, Deputy-Head of the Japanese General Consulate in Danang. The purpose of the meeting was to explore further partnerships with Japanese companies in the fields of Nursing and Health and Food technology.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu gave an overview of Duy Tan University and the School of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities, including the Japanese Language department, where the university teaches courses in translation, interpretation, business Japanese and Japanese tourism, to meet the ever-increasing demand for high-quality professionals.
Duy Tan University focuses on improving the quality of graduates for work in Japanese companies and suggested that the Consulate might be able to assist in broadening their experience and career opportunities.

Mr. Shimonishi Kiyoshi expressed his pleasure meeting and working with Duy Tan University, praised the university’s achievements over the years, explained the role and duties of the Danang Consulate and looked forward to helping Duy Tan University connect with more Japanese companies.
