Online studies at DTU

When the COVID-19 pandemic became more prevalent, DTU immediately switched to online teaching and testing, to ensure the safety of students and faculty and avoid disruption. Even though the pandemic has impacted us all so severely for two years now, DTU has ensured that its 20 thousand students can continue their studies and exams on schedule, due to the university’s strategy and investments in online education.

DTU students switch to Online Studies during the Covid-19

DTU students anywhere in the country, especially in areas the most strongly affected, in quarantine or socially distanced, can still attend classes on the normal schedule and lecturers teach online using Sakai or Zoom Cloud Meetings via the myDTU management platform. Interactions between lecturers and students online remain lively and frank and lecturers can still use most traditional classroom teaching methods. Students can switch on their microphones or use the chat box to ask questions and share their opinions with lecturers and classmates.

DTU students anywhere in the country, and especially those living in areas strongly affected by the pandemic, in quarantined places, or in places with social distancing, can still attend classes like usual following the original schedule of their majors and of the university.

Online students will still steadily progress to graduation and, at the same time, experience newinterregional workgroup technologies in preparation for global integration.
